One year in Brisbane Providing Drum Lessons!
It's been one year since my family and I moved to Brisbane from NSW. With this move, I we had to restart everything! Including, my drum teaching business which meant saying goodbye to hundreds of students in NSW and trying to find hundreds of equally amazing kids and teenagers in Brisbane! Thankfully, I did! After renovating a studio space in Newstead, my students slowly showed up one by one keeping me very busy.
Our end of year performance night was incredible for 2 reasons.
• It was a chance for me to reflect on how successful 2023 was for me. Over 100 attendees came to support from the crowd and perform on stage. Something I never thought I would have from one year in Brisbane.
• My son played the same stage as me for the first time ever. I was a very proud Dad :)
I am so thankful to Brisbane and everyone that supports my drum lessons over in Newstead. I hope this was the first of many years working with so many awesome kids and teenagers :).
